This week the Grade 1 students celebrated “Elders’ Day” by helping their elderly at home. It is heartwarming to see how much our young trinitians respect and love the elderly.
Kindergarten students shared their experiences by capturing such moments in appreciation to Elders Day. Students were seen helping out their elders by – folding clothes, cleaning the garden, washing dishes, peeling off onions, serving dinner, giving medicine, and much more.
After lending a helping hand to their elders, it was pleasant to hear them talk continuously about this week’s activity.
“It was fun helping my grandmother and grandfather” – Grade 1 student.
“I clean my grandfather’s room nicely. Then my grandfather was very happy” – Grade 1 student.
Join us next week to see how the Grade 1 students celebrated World Children’s Day.
