At the beginning of 3rd term each year, the Kindergarten classes begin their preparations for the Christmas Handwork display. The planning for this made well before the August vacation. The annual Trinity vs Royal Football Encounter took place on 10th November 2018 at the Trinity College Rugby Stadium, Pallekele. The 1st XI team of Trinity emerged as champions winning the J R Jayawardena Challenge Trophy with a score of 3 – nil. The U12 team also won, while Trinity lost the U14 match. The U16 match was drawn.
